Raw Vegan Chocolate Tomato Sauce on Kelp Noodles Recipe

Start off with a simple raw tomato sauce, and then add some melted cacao butter and cacao nibs for a cacao buzz !

Method

  • Wash and prepare your vegetables : quarter the tomatoes and bell peppers, cut the celery in chunks, scoop the flesh out of your avocado and peel the garlic cloves.
  • Put the tomatoes, bell pepper, celery, avocado, red onion, garlic, apple cider vinegar, tamari or liquid aminos and date in the blender and blend for a short time.
  • Then add the basil, cacao nibs, melted cacao butter and goji berries and blend shortly again. You want to keep some texture to the sauce, so don't over blend.
  • If the cacao butter solidifies, just gently warm the sauce to finger warm temperature.
  • Serve with kelp noodles, raw courgette ribbons, raw or steamed vegetables, quinoa or traditional or gluten-free pasta.
