Accounts Office Assistant

Summary:

Would you like a job in a busy, friendly office?

We are looking for someone work with our Office Manager and Purchase Ledger Controller to learn all aspects of various accounts and administration tasks required in a busy, growing and expanding business.

You would learn about processing and clearing invoices for the purchase ledger, reconciling and banking the daily cash takings from our two shops, reconciling the takings from our online business, recording and monitoring the staff working hours for the whole business along with many other essential functions that help to keep the business running smoothly.

You will need to be neat, tidy and organised; fully numerate with a good eye for detail.

Experience of processing high volumes of data would be a definite advantage as would previous purchase ledger and/or cash handling experience.

Full training will be given.

The role is 30 hours a week within office hours Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. Candidates must be available to work at least 4 hours on a Monday, the other 26 hours can be arranged to suit individuals.

Purchase Ledger/Admin Assistant

Summary:

Would you like a  job in a busy, friendly office?

We are looking for someone to help in our city centre accounts/admin offices with data processing, filing related to our purchase ledger along with other adminitrative tasks. You will be helping our purchase ledger controller to maintain accurate, up to date data, matching, clearing and filing purchase invoices. Also you would work along side our office manager learining how to prepare cash for banking and maintain acurrate records of woorking hours for the whole organisation.

You need to have good investigative skills and the ability to communicate clearly with the rest of the team. You should have good processing speeds and need to be able to work accurately at speed. You will need to be comfortable using computers and have strong numeracy skills.

The role is full time and hours fall within normal office working times (Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm)

Full training will be given.

Web Shop Packer

Summary:

Do you have the ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully? Are you energetic, practical and aware of health and safety issues? We are looking for a new packer to join our friendly team in our Broughton Street store.

You will need to be able to lift and manoeuvre boxes of product up to 30kg in weight. You will also need to be quick, efficient and thorough, ensuring that each item is carefully packed  and that when a customer receives their parcel they are delighted.

Job Summary:

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage shop sales teams
  • Drive sales increase
  • Use KPI reports to motivate staff on a daily basis
  • Deliver awesome customer service on a day to day basis
  • Direct, report on and participate in ongoing sales development plans
  • Understand, contribute to and manage all the processes in the shop
  • Work with the directors to plan and initiate new developments
  • Undertake sales and administration duties as required by the company

Other Key Requirements:

  • Experience of retail management
  • Self-starter able to work independently when required to do so
  • Ability to understand and utilise sales KPIs to improve sales figures
  • Determination to never leave a quality issue unchecked
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Knowledge of the food industry an advantage
  • An interest in healthy lifestyles also an advantage
