Retail Sales Managers

Real Foods is looking for someone to manage one of our city centre shops and to assist the directors in managing ongoing development projects related to sales, as well as initiating new ones in cooperation with the rest of the management team.
We are looking for someone who understands the need to provide a first class customer service in our growing and developing retail business.
With over 70 enthusiastic and dedicated staff drawn from all over the world, Real Foods is an expanding and developing food business situated in the Scottish capital city. We are dedicated to creating an accepting, friendly environment for our staff and customers.

Principal responsibilities

  • Manage shop sales teams
  • Drive sales increase
  • Use KPI reports to motivate staff on a daily basis
  • Deliver awesome customer service on a day to day basis
  • Direct, report on and participate in ongoing sales development plans
  • Understand, contribute to and manage all the processes in the shop
  • Work with the directors to plan and initiate new developments
  • Undertake sales and administration duties as required by the company

Other key requirements

  • Experience of retail management
  • Self-starter able to work independently when required to do so
  • Ability to understand and utilise sales KPIs to improve sales figures
  • Determination to never leave a quality issue unchecked
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Knowledge of the food industry an advantage
  • An interest in healthy lifestyles also an advantage

Reporting to: Sales Director

Dried Goods Packer


Do you have the ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully? Are you fit, energetic and practical?

We are looking for a new packer to join our friendly team in our Broughton Street store. This is a full or part-time role at 32-39hrs per week.

You will work in our packing department ensuring that sacks of dried goods are efficiently repackaged for sale in our two shops and webshop.

After a paid training and induction period you will move to piece rates, the quicker you pack the more you will earn.

A generous 35% staff discount is available along with enrolment in the NEST pension scheme.
