Accounts Office Manager

Job Summary:

Reporting to:     Financial Director

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Assist the FD in all the actions required to produce accurate, timely monthly accounts.
  •  Assist in payroll duties for the company
  • Oversight of company purchase ledger
  • Oversight and control of daily cash reconciliations
  • Undertake administrative duties as required by the company
  • Manage accounts and administration teams

Other Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with accounts, particularly in a small to medium company
  • Self-starter able to work independently when required to do so
  • Strong numeracy skills and confidence in data handling
  • Determination to never leave a quality issue unchecked
  • Strong planning, analytical and organisational skills
  • Microsoft packages including Excel to a good standard
  • Knowledge and experience of Sage 50 advantageous

Office Worker

Summary:

Are you neat, tidy, precise and accurate? Would you enjoy counting money and preparing banking?

Real Foods is looking for someone to work in their busy city shop (Broughton Street branch) preparing the shop takings for banking each day.

This is a part time role that requires exactness and attention to detail. It will be approximately 20 hours each week. Within certain limitations the hours can be arranged to suit the right candidate, but please note that you must be available on a Monday to complete the weekend banking at the start of the new week.

Please note that this is an office based job and does not involve working on the shop floor with customers.

Web Shop Packer

Summary:

Do you have the ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully? Are you energetic, practical and aware of health and safety issues? We are looking for a new packer to join our friendly team in our Broughton Street store.

You will need to be able to lift and manoeuvre boxes of product up to 30kg in weight. You will also need to be quick, efficient and thorough, ensuring that each item is carefully packed  and that when a customer receives their parcel they are delighted.

You will need to be able to perform under pressure.

This is a full or part time role and within the team there is scope for enthusiatic and talented people to develop and progress

Twilight Operative

Summary:

If you are reliable, dynamic and physically fit while possessing an eye for detail and take pride in carrying out your work in a timely efficient manner then you will find Real Foods a rewarding environment. We are looking for staff to join our twilight team and work in the evenings. The job involves picking goods for our web customers, the stocking of shop floor shelves, pulling forward and facing up stock in both our Edinburgh shops to ensure our shop displays look their very best and maintaining our shelf edge labels.


We are looking for a member of staff to work various evening shifts. You will work any combination of days, including weekends up to a maximum of 30 hours per week. Flexibility is required to help cover holiday periods and sickness etc. As a member of staff you will be entitled to a very generous staff discount of 35%.

Job Summary:

  • Drive sales increase
  • Use KPI reports to motivate staff on a daily basis
  • Deliver awesome customer service on a day to day basis
  • Direct, report on and participate in ongoing sales development plans
  • Understand, contribute to and manage all the processes in the shop
  • Work with the directors to plan and initiate new developments
  • Undertake sales and administration duties as required by the company

Other Key Requirements:

  • Experience of retail management

  • Ability to understand and utilise sales KPIs to improve sales figures
  • Determination to never leave a quality issue unchecked
