Web Shop Operations Manager

Summary:

Real Foods is looking for someone who is neat, tidy and organised. This is a 'hands on' leadership job and you must be physically fit, pro active and energetic while also possessing good computer skills to tackle the administrative element of the duties. You will join an established web shop team, based at our Edinburgh, Broughton Street warehouse and shop.

You would be responsible for the daily efficient operation of our international web shop including the management of staff; reporting on and improving day to day operations and order fulfilment rate. Alongside this the working environment must be kept clean, tidy and organised and your team well trained and motivated.

The job involves organising and managing the processes from electronic receipt of order, through picking, invoicing, appropriate packing, timely daily dispatching and ensuring delivery of our customers’ goods in top condition.  You will also control and direct the customer care staff to ensure that we deliver excellent service to all customers at all times.

At all times you would be expected to liaise positively and constructively with senior management in the advancement of strategies for increasing sales, efficiency and service within the web shop.

Full training on our web dispatch systems will be given. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to be part of a growing, dynamic team.

Shelf filler

Summary:

Real Foods is looking for fit, energetic and hard working applicants to re-stock our central Edinburgh shops. As an established and expanding city centre business Real Foods is looking to expand its sales support team and this role requires a focused approach in a fast paced environment.

Web Shop Packer

Summary:

Do you have the ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully? Are you energetic, practical and aware of health and safety issues? We are looking for a new packer to join our friendly team in our Broughton Street store.

You will need to be able to lift and manoeuvre boxes of product up to 30kg in weight. You will also need to be quick, efficient and thorough, ensuring that each item is carefully packed  and that when a customer receives their parcel they are delighted.

You will need to be able to perform under pressure.

This is a full or part time role and within the team there is scope for enthusiatic and talented people to develop and progress

Job Summary:

Reporting to:     Sales Director

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage shop sales teams
  • Drive sales increase
  • Use KPI reports to motivate staff on a daily basis
  • Deliver awesome customer service on a day to day basis
  • Direct, report on and participate in ongoing sales development plans
  • Understand, contribute to and manage all the processes in the shop
  • Work with the directors to plan and initiate new developments
  • Undertake sales and administration duties as required by the company

Other Key Requirements:

  • Experience of retail management
  • Self-starter able to work independently when required to do so
  • Ability to understand and utilise sales KPIs to improve sales figures
  • Determination to never leave a quality issue unchecked
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Knowledge of the food industry an advantage
  • An interest in healthy lifestyles also an advantage
