Prune Rolls

These rolls make a great snack. They would also be great buttered for breakfast, or served with cheese.

You will need

500g flour More products
25g baking powder More products
300ml warm water with salt
extra virgin olive oil More products

Method

  • Dissolve the baking powder in two spoons of extra virgin olive oil and warm salt water, then mix it in with the flour.
  • Chop up the pitted prunes and the nuts and add them to the mixture.
  • Allow the mixture to rest for ten minutes, then form small rolls with the mixture and place them on a baking tray.
  • Allow the mixture to rise for approximately half an hour in a warm room.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes at 180C (160C if you have a fan oven) and serve.
