Coconut Bread

Coconut flour is wheat and gluten free. In addition it is rich in fibre 30% more than wheat bran, low in carbs, improves your digestive system, helps lower your cholesterol and helps protect from heart disease.

1/2 cup virgin coconut oil melted OR

6 eggs, free range

2 tbsp honey More products
1/2 tsp salt More products
1 tsp baking powder wheat free More products

Method

  • Blend together eggs, butter/oil, honey and salt.
  • Combine coconut flour with baking powder and whisk thoroughly into batter until there are no lumps.
  • Pour into a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf tin and bake at 175 deg cel for 40 mins
  • Remove from tin and cool on rack.
