Much like a yellow split pea except for the colour!

Use to make soup or add to stews and casseroles.

To cook: Soak overnight. Simmer for 20 minutes. or until tender.

Beans and Pulses are naturally low in fat, high in fibre and rich in protein.

I find it very useful to be able to buy in small amounts if I want to. Alternatively it is great to get better value when you buy more. I tried out the dahl recipe - it's okay, certainly very easy to do.
