About Organic Rye Grain
For cooking, grinding into flour or sprouting. Make your own freshly ground coarse or fine organic wholemeal rye flour. Sprout our Organic Rye grain into rye berries that can be eaten whole in salad, raw muesli or to make Essene bread, or grown further to produce rye grass for juicing, which has similar nutritional profile to wheatgrass.
Organic Rye Grains. Rye is a cereal grain, closely related to wheat. It is mainly grown as a bread grain, for livestock feed or for distillation into grain alcohol spirits. Rich in B-vitamins, rye contains generous amounts of iron, calcium, phosphorus and potassium and also has the highest amount of lysine of all grains.
