About Sushi White Rice
White Sushi Rice is, of course, designed for use with sushi, but actually works quite well in any food. Sushi rice has a shorter, fatter grain than ordinary rice, and sticks together so that you can pick it up with chopsticks, a mildly sweet rice with a glutinous texture. To make Sushi you need a rice with the perfect balance of starches to allow the rice to stick together. Sushi Rice is delicious in rice desserts and puddings.
