About Organic Cripps Pink Apples

Pink Lady is the brand name for the Cripps Pink apples. Created by Mr Cripps they're a cross between Golden Delicious and a Lady William. Beautifully pink, the flesh is on the coarse side of dense and a creamy light yellow. It's very crisp and juicy. The flavour is sweet with some tartness and offers distinct cantaloupe and honeydew notes, with a hint of orange juice.

Apples are a good source of dietary fibre and vitamin C. Most of the apple's fibre is contained in its skin, as is the majority of its quercetin, a potent antioxidant. Find out more by following this link.

These are my family's most favourite apples - I never have yo persuade them to eat 'an apple a day' if I have these Pink Apples in the cupboard.

Vegan Gluten Free Tofu and Apple stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Summary: Everyone loves stuffed bell peppers. They often look stunning and impressive, yet they are really easy to make : just halve the peppers, fill them with the tasty mixture of your choice, pop them in the oven, and there you have it. When it comes to the filling, your imagination is the only limit. In these ones, I used a mixture of tofu, rice, amaranth, apple and herbs.
