About Organic Juliet Apples

The Juliet apple is a crisp, sweet and juicy apple with a long shelf-life. Produced in France it is the first apple in the world to be only produced organically. It has a red on yellow skin. Juliet apples are great eaters and good for apple sauces and sweet baked desserts.

Have a look at our Real Foods All About Apples guide for more information on the nutrition and sourcing of apples.

This is a delightfully crisp little apple with a candy like aroma to the flesh when eaten, most enjoyable.

Bircher Muesli Recipe

Summary: This is The Original Apple Bircher Muesli recipe, as can be found in the book 'Health-Giving dishes' by Dr Bircher-Benner, first published in 1934 ! Swiss Bircher-Benner advocated eating MUESLI (Dietetic Fruit Dishes) as an integral part of the daily diet (to be eaten for breakfast and supper). The original recipe calls for condensed milk, but you can use yoghurt instead. I like to use coconut milk or oat cream for a vegan muesli.
