Vegan Mineral Rich Baby Porridge Recipe

Like regular porridge, but blended smooth … Oats are a great source of fibre and various minerals, such as Magnesium, Phosphorus and Manganese. Adjust quantities according to baby's age and appetite, or if you want to make a few portions ahead and freeze.

about 2 Tbsp organic porridge oats OR More products
organic medium oatmeal OR More products
organic pinhead oatmeal More products
about 100ml filtered water
a dozen organic Thompson raisins More products
generous pinch organic ground cinnamon More products

Method

  • Put the oats of your choice and the raisins with the water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the oats are soft, adding more water if required.
  • Blend the cooked porridge and raisins with the cinnamon (if using), again adding more water if needed to get the right consistency for your baby.
