Real Foods Vintage Vegan Brandy Butter Recipe

Straight out of our archives, this is our Vintage Brandy Nut Butter recipe, that we used to give out to our customers in the 70s. Vegan and with a no added sugar option, this dairy free butter is the perfect sauce for our Vintage Christmas Pudding.

You will need

IngredientAdd
150g cashew nut pieces, ideally soaked for at least 4 hour, then rinsed and drained More products
approx 1/4 pint concentrated apple juice. Not too diluted. OR More products
1/4 pint water with 1 tsp raw sugar More products
1 Tbsp corn oil OR

1 Tbsp rapeseed oil More products
2-3 tbsp brandy

Method

  • Blend oil, nuts and brandy.
  • Then add the apple juice concentrate (or water and sugar mix) and blend again to desired consistency.
  • Serve with your Christmas pudding.
