Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Try this for a fruit packed snack. You can vary the fruits according to what is in season and use gluten free tortillas if you follow a gluten free diet.

Method

  • Combine the fruits, fruit preserves, onion marmalade or pickle and lemon juice in a large bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.
  • Coat the tortillas with melted butter. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle wedges with cinnamon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges.
  • Allow to cool approximately for 15 minutes and serve with the chilled fruit salsa.
