About Organic by Doves Farm Cornflour Gluten Free,

Doves Gluten Free, Organic Cornflour is made from organically grown corn starch. It is great for thickening sauces and desserts. This is a useful aid in the kitchen and is designed to sit alongside your other baking ingredients. You can make delicious shortbread using this. A low FODMAP product.
There's enough cornflour in this 110g packet to make over 7 litres of gravy!
Cornflour should be blended with a little cold water before adding to any liquid. Blend 1 tsp cornflour with 2 tbsp of water to a smooth paste. Add to the dish off the heat. Be careful - it will not thicken until it is really hot, make sure you stir all the time if you don't want a lumpy result.
We have known some folks who have ended up with a sauce that you can stand a spoon in because they didn?t realise it thickens as it cooks!
