About Organic Chickpeas

Chickpeas add a whole new protein filled dimension to curries, rice dishes and salads. They are the key ingredient in hummus, which is incredibly easy to make (simply whizz hummus, a little tahini and lemon juice together and voila). For a salad with a twist, mix a tin of rinsed chickpeas and a quarter of very finely chopped red onion to a salad of rocket or herbs, then scatter with small chunks of soft goats cheese, drizzle with a little chilli oil, a small squeeze of lemon juice and tuck in!
