You will need

1 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda More products
1 tsp mixed dried herbs More products

150g low-fat natural live yoghurt

Method

  • Set the oven to 200 deg cel, gas mark 6, grease a 15 cm shallow sandwich tin, muffin pans or loaf tin.
  • Mix the cornmeal, bicarbonate of soda,herbs and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  • Beat the egg separately and mix with the yoghurt and oil.
  • Pour over dry ingredients and mix well together.
  • Spoon into the tins and level out.
  • Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown and firm to touch.
  • Cool on a wire rack and serve.
