Vegetarian Haggis and Portobello Mushroom Recipe

A delicious start to your Burns Supper or can be served as a main course. Vegetarian haggis can be enjoyed all year round.

any grated or crumbled cheese of your choice

Method

  • Lightly cook the top of the mushrooms under the grill, or gently fry.
  • Turn the mushroom over and fill with haggis.
  • Top with goat's cheese or a cheese of your choice.  
  • Place under the grill, or in the oven, until hot and bubbling.
  • Serve immediately whilst piping hot.
