100g pitted prunes More products
500g broccoli More products
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil Available only in our Edinburgh shops More products
1/2 red onion More products
1 glass of white wine

150g gorgonzola cheese
500g wholewheat shells pasta (or shape of your choice)

  • Blanch the broccoli and put aside.
  • Heat the oil in frying pan, fry the onions until they are caramelized.
  • Add the wine and cream and cook on a low heat for five minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the paprika, gorgonzola, pitted prunes and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bring a pan of salted water to boil and add pasta. When the pasta is al dente, drain and add all other ingredients and mix.
  • Garnish with slivered almonds and serve.
