About Hot Beetroot Chutney
This rich and velvety chutney is full of flavour. Uniquely, the beetroot is grown on the shores of Whitting Bay, Arran where the produce is left untouched from artificial fertilisers. The small crunchy pieces of beetroot add texture to any sandwich and are a great side to salads and cold meats. Try serving with hot brie or camembert.
Arran Fine Foods can be found in the pretty village of Lamlash on the beautiful Isle of Arran. Their small factory started life nearly forty years ago, when they first started producing their great tasting mustards from a tiny kitchen on the island. Sold locally, they started to become very popular with the locals and tourists. Arran Fine Foods use herbs grown locally in soil fertilised with wild seaweed from the shores of Whiting Bay on Arran. They also use elephant garlic and fresh beetroot grown alongside the herbs. These superb local ingredients are used in the fine mustards and tasty chutneys they produce.
