You will need

12 fl oz (1 1/2 cups) bulghar wheat More products
24 fl oz (3 cups) water
3 tbsp  margarine

225g mushrooms More products
1 bunch salad onion, chopped More products
1 red pepper, chopped More products
2 tbsp lime juice More products
3 tbsp dry white wine

  • Put the bulghar wheat in a medium pan.
  • Cover with the water and and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let it stand for 5 more minutes. Drain.
  • Melt margarine in a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat
  • Sautée mushrooms, onions and peppers until onions are clear and soft. Remove from heat.
  • Add lemon juice, wine, parsley, basil, salt and pepper.
  • Combine with the bulghar wheat and serve immediately.
