Ayurvedic Homemade Neem Toothpaste Recipe

There are many brands of ayurvedic toothpastes with neem, but they sometimes also contain some dubious ingredients. Why not make your own ? This homemade fluoride free toothpaste couples neem powder with antibacterial coconut oil and tooth-friendly baking soda and xylitol.

3 tbsp raw extra virgin coconut oil, gently melted

Method

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl until you reach a tooth paste consistency.
  • Depending on the temperature, the coconut oil might solidify. This is perfectly alright. For ease of use, you can store your toothpaste in a small jar on a shelf in your bathroom.
