Baking Sweet

You will need

50g low fat spread

275g ground almonds More products
160g honey Available only in our Broughton Street shop More products
1 free range egg beaten Available only in our Broughton Street shop More products
75g sultanas More products
50g walnuts, chop lightly More products
1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda More products
Pinch of salt More products

  • Preheat oven to 180 deg cel gas mark 4.
  • Line baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
  • Put all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix together until completely combined.
  • Put teaspoonfuls onto the baking trays, for larger cookies make the teaspoons quite generous.
  • Leave plenty of space between the cookies as they will spread during cooking.
  • Bake for 15mins.
  • Remove from the oven and leave on the baking sheets for a few mins to slightly set, then remove to cool completely on a cooling rack.
