About Index Espresso Blend Coffee Beans
By comparison, Index is MACHINA's most accessible option. It's most developed coffee (it's not dark, just more caramelised and dense), so it's rich in body and sweetness, but low in acidity and more rounded. Think dark chocolate, plum and pecan nuts.
It's work exceptionally well in all types of espresso machines, so easy to use and you don't need a premium machine to get it tasting great - making it a huge crowd pleaser.
Index is made up of three seasonal lots:
From Brazil, Bossa Nova is a naturally processed coffee that gives the blend its body and creamy mouth-feel.
This is supported by an Indonesian Mandheling called Permata Gayo Co-Op, a wet hulled processed coffee which adds an extra bit of a kick and depth to the Brazil's body.
Then finally a regional Ugandan called Karambi, a naturally processed coffee; one of our seasonal regional lots, adding a subtle sweetness and a layer of complexity to the profile
