About Organic Ratte Potato
The Ratte potato (also known as La Ratte, La Reine Ratte du Touquet, or Asparges) is a small potato with a unique nutty flavour and smooth, buttery texture. The variety originated in Denmark or France in the late 19th century.
Delicious nutty taste like chestnuts, prized in France for its flavour for over 70 years. Little potatoes with firm waxy flesh which does not disintegrate. Steam in its skin and eat hot or cold.
