Zingy apple and honey face mask

If it’s not safe to eat why would you put it on your highly absorbent skin? This face mask recipe is sure to provide you with untainted goodness. Use this on acne prone oily skin, the slightly acidic action of the apple helps to break down skin oils and the honey helps open the pores allowing exfoliation.

1 medium size apple; grated, pureed or mashed

5 tablespoons of honey; warmed More products
a splash of water if required

Method

  • Stir ingredients together, add water as necessary to thin the mixture.
  • Apply to freshly cleaned face and leave on for 10 minutes.
  • Wash off with warm water and pat dry.
