About Clean Wine Spray
It could not be simpler, just add a spray or two of Clean Wine to your empty glass of wine, pour and swill!
Dosing (per 750 ml bottle)
Champagne, long cellar and organic wines ? 3 sprays,
Red, white, rosé and sparkling wine ? 6 sprays,
Sweet wines, sherries and port ? 12 sprays,
Adjust dosage per glass depending on glass size. For example, if drinking white wine and using 125ml glasses (UK standard size) you would get 6 glasses per 750ml bottle. Therefore, since the dosage is 6 sprays per bottle use 1 spray per glass.
At the above dosage levels a bottle of Clean Wine will treat around 200 125ml glasses of champagne, 100 glasses of white, red or rosé or 25 glasses of sweet wines. On average, treating an equal selection of all wine types, one bottle of Clean Wine will treat over 100 glasses.
Although the above dosage will work for most people and wines, satisfactory dosage depends on the wine, the level of preservatives that have been added to it and how badly you are affected with hangovers after drinking wine. Therefore, you may need to increase the dosage by a few extra sprays per glass.
Other Alcoholic Drinks
Clean Wine works by removing the harmful chemicals found in Wine. These are also found in other alcoholic drinks and in quite high concentrations in cider and lesser so in beer. Therefore, although Clean Wine has been specifically designed for wine it will, to a lesser extent, help prevent hangovers from certain other alcoholic drinks.
Caution with Fine Wines
Clean Wine is best used to treat New World wines and those made to a modern specification, which have higher levels of preservatives. Care should be taken when treating older high-quality wines as too much Clean Wine will lead to oxidisation of the wine, which can flatten the flavour.
