About Organic White Grapefruit
Named for the fact that the fruits grow in grape-like bunches, grapefruits are the largest citrus fruits, growing up to 18cm in diameter. Tart and tangy with an underlying sweetness, grapefruit has a juiciness that rivals that of the ever popular orange and sparkles with many of the same health promoting benefits.
Grapefruit is an excellent source of vitamin C. It is also a good source of dietary fibre, vitamin A, potassium, folate, and vitamin B5. Grapefruit also contains phytochemicals including liminoids and lycopene.
