About Organic Black Nerone Rice

Organic black wholegrain rice. This is the finest black rice, cultivated by the Picco family in Bianze amidst Italy's rice paddies, nourished by Alpine waters. According to legend, black rice was reserved exclusively for the Chinese Emperor and the Imperial family, where is was very much appreciated for its nutritional properties. Its earthy, nutty flavour and unique texture are perfect for hearty casseroles or fish dishes.
