About Plant Derived MSM Capsules
MSM is short for Methylsulfonylmethane, a naturally occurring form of sulphur. Raw Living MSM is derived from Canadian plants such as flaxseeds, and not from petroleum sources. Sulphur is known as the "beauty mineral" because it is great for glowing skin, shiny hair, and strong nails. MSM affects the cell membrane in removing fluids and toxins, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory. MSM increases fluidity and flexibility and is recognised for its ability to help with stiffness due to ageing or strenuous exercise. It acts as a carrier, and helps other nutrients to penetrate the cells. In clinical trials, it has been shown to be affective in treating arthritis.
Purity. There are two methods used for purifying MSM, crystallisation and distillation. Crystallisation is cheaper and risks impurities. Our MSM is purified by distillation, 100% pure. No fillers, binders, additives or flow agents.
Suggested serving size: Each capsule is 1000mg. Start with 4 caps a day, with water. You can work up to 10 caps a day, or try our plant-derived MSM Crystals stirred into water.
How to use: MSM is very bitter, and it's hard to disguise the taste. The best approach is to stir some in a glass of lemon water or orange juice, and swallow it down as quick as you can.
Note: Most MSM is fossil based, and crystallised, which will not give as pure a product (as distillation)
This Canadian MSM is Bio-based, it is very pure, its key advantages are:
Analysis: On independent analysis we achieve >100% purity (typically >101%)
Source material: That the source material (DMSO) has its methoxyl groups derived from organic based lignans, rather than methanol alternative
.
Purity: The final product is distilled to gain a superior level of purity. This is like distilling water to remove impurities, and as far as we are aware, our supplier is one of only two MSM manufacturers in the world to do this.
No flow additives: No flow additives, some other brands have it as standard inclusion
