About Organic Lentils Green

Green lentils are the earthiest of all lentil varieties. They have a slightly nutty flavour and a firm, meaty texture. They remain quite firm after cooking, making them an excellent choice for salads.

Lentils are naturally low in fat, high in fibre and rich in protein.

These green lentils are very good to use if you want to make a vegetarian shepherds pie. Even my non-vegetarian childeren count it as one of their favourites.
