Chablis, Phillipe Goulley AC (Burgundy)
A classic Chablis Chardonnay - with a more aromatic and typically minerally approach than the Petit Chablis. Whereas its little brother comes from the richer soils of the plateau, the Chablis comes from the stonier hillside vineyards where the vine roots are embedded into the rock. The resulting wine is less acidic, fuller bodied and more powerful than the Petit Chablis (which expresses the fruit as much as terroir). Dry, rounded and slightly citric.
Grape varieties: Chardonnay
