About Organic Coconut Milk

Organic, no emulsifiers or stabilisers, 100% Natural, Great Taste Award Winner. Bringing a little luxury to dishes, this silky coconut milk can be used in everything from aromatic curries to dairy-free ice cream. Use as a vegan cream substitute and pour straight into plain rice or chickpea dahls to add subtle sweetness, or try a little stirred into your morning smoothie for a tropical twist. Pressed from coconut kernels, natural coconut milk contains no artificial ingredients. As a result, the coconut fat and water content can separate, but this has no impact on the final quality of the product: simply stir into hot dishes or blend the contents to combine.

Lovely organic product - used in curries and vegetable stews.  Wouldn't buy anything else now that I've tasted this.

So useful! We keep a load in the cupboard for curries, desserts and  adding to sauces or rices. It's amazing in Asian soups as well. Really handy stuff, especially if you're dairy free or vegan, you can still have treats!

Thai Style Vegan Jackfruit Curry Recipe

Summary: Jackfruit is cropping up as a plant based alternative everywhere, especially as 'pulled' jackfruit. Jackfruit is a tropical fruit native to South India. Fully ripe, it tastes sweet, floral and a little pungent. Young or unripe, it is used in savoury dishes like curries and stir-fries. It is the largest tree fruit in the world, one fruit can weigh up to 40 kg ! Jackfruit is low in fat, high in nutrients, and a good source of dietary fibre. Not unlike tofu, young jackfruit flesh has a neutral taste and will carry robust curry or barbecue flavours very well. Here we present to you our quick and easy week night Thai style jackfruit curry using a good quality ready-made red thai curry paste. The recipe calls for Bay, Kaffir Lime and Curry leaves ; just leave any or all of them out if you don't have them. Delicious served with some rice and wilted spinach or chard.

Raw Vegan Gluten Free Raspberry and Coconut Sprouted Buckwheat Porridge Recipe

Summary: If you have never tried raw buckwheat porridge, then you are in for a treat ! Buckwheat is actually not related to wheat, it is not a grain at all, it is known as a pseudo-grain seed, along with quinoa, amaranth and millet, which are all very high in protein. And it has no gluten, so it is safe to eat for people avoiding wheat, gluten and grains all together. The variations for raw buckwheat porridge are endless, but the basic idea is to soak then sprout the buckwheat, then blend it with water or a vegan milk, fruits and / or sweetener of our choice. And there you have it : creamy, high fibre, high protein, yet fresh and light, breakfast goodness, perfect for a summer morning. In this recipe, I use coconut milk for that exotic flavour, raspberries for tart sweetness and berry nutrition, and finally bananas for extra goodness and sweetness.
