Ramen are traditional Japanese style noodle cakes which unfold on cooking. King Soba Ramen are wheat and Gluten-Free. These noodles are made from organic black rice which became known in China as "forbidden rice" when the nobility forbade the "common people" from eating it. King Soba Black Rice Ramen are delicate in texture and have a delicious, nutty flavour.
To Prepare: Bring 1 litre of water to boil. Add one noodle cake per person. When the noodles begin to unfold, separate them gently with a fork and then reduce the heat. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until the noodles are just soft. Strain through a colander and briefly rinse with cold water. Serving Suggestions: Add to mixed mushrooms fried with garlic and fresh herbs. Mix in with Miso soup for a healthy and traditional Japanese snack.
