About Organic Elstar Apples
Organic Elstar Apple from Real Foods. The Elstar was developed in The Netherlands in 1950's and is a cross between Golden Delicious and Ingrid Marie. It was quickly popular across Europe and was introduced to America in 1972.
The Elstar is a medium-sized apple with white flesh, red on yellow skin and has a crispy flesh with a sweet-tart flavour. It is excellent for apple sauce and is a good eater.
