Reliably large and very fresh. I buy around 10 each week for juicing and they're always of good quality. Organic's important to me, partly for health and pesticide use, but mainly because I can use the zest from organic ones, which is brilliant for getting flavour into cooking and dressings.

Great tast, but dissapointed there are no seeds. Its becoming more and more rare to find fruits with seeds and this is very disturbing. How can a fruit without seeds reproduce itself, without manipulation.

As a sceptic I did not think an organic orange would be any different from a non-organic one. How wrong can you be?

Vegetarian Stone Fruit Thyme And Goat Cheese Salad Recipe

Summary: Fruit salad with cheese is one of my personal favourite combinations. It might sound unusual, but give it a try, and you will be surprised at how well it works. I love my fruit salads with cheese at any time of the day, from breakfast to a light lunch to a refreshing Summer starter to a post-workout snack to even dessert. A sure winner with children too. Again, putting pepper on fruits might sound odd, but the pepper really brings out the sweetness of the fruits and wonderfully rounds off the different flavours. This one is a summer incarnation, when stone fruits are plentiful. Use any combination of plums, apricots, nectarines, peaches and cherries. I used the juice of half a blood orange to marinate the fruits in because I had one (the last of the season), but regular orange is great too. Thyme just goes really well with goats cheese, but basil works great too. The key is to use perfectly ripe fruits, as they will be deliciously sweet ; halving and pitting the cherries takes a bit of time, but it is well worth the effort, believe me ! Leave a few cherries whole for decoration. For a Vegan and Paleo version, replace the goat cheese with soaked almonds.

Gluten Free Rose, Orange and Pistachio Persian Love Cake Recipe

Summary: Legend has it that a long, long time ago, a young woman was madly in love with a Persian Prince, so she baked him a cake filled with magical love powers to make him fall in love with her. In one version of the tale, the cake works its magic and the Prince returns her love, but in another, he doesn't Either way, the Persian Love Cake is a symbol of undying love, with enchanting flavours of rosewater, cardamom and saffron. Perfect as a Valentine's Day celebratory cake, the Persian Love Cake has also become a popular choice for wedding cakes. This is our take on the Persian Love Cake: first, we make it gluten-free by using a combination of ground almonds and ground pistachios with no flour at all, secondly we incorporate orange juice and zest into the cake, and finally, to make the cake just that little bit healthier, we skip the icing, and make a cake drizzle that has no added sugar, as the cake is sweet and lovely enough. The result is a moist, nutty, fruity, floral, enchanting, magical cake, fit for charming any Prince (or Princess).
