Chockie Milkshake

Be warned, this shake is very rich and creamy - So much so that you won't want to share it! For an even thicker alternative, try using a frozen banana. The banana will make the milkshake nicely sweet, only add dates if you desire extra sweetness.

You will need

20 brazil nuts - soaked More products
4 small or 2 medium sized dates, optional More products
1 banana - peeled More products
2 to 4 tsp carob powder OR More products
2 to 4 tsp raw cacao powder
1 vanilla pod

Method

  • Blend together the brazil nuts and dates, if using, with 2 cups of water.
  • Strain the mixture and pour the brazil nut milk base back into the blender.
  • Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla pod. Add the banana, vanilla and carob powder and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
