About Smoked Paprika

Paprika is a deeply red powder, from the dried pulp of sweet peppers: capsicum annuum. This spice is smoked for hours on beech wood or oak wood which brings out a subtle and deep perfume. Also known as Picante Pimenton, this smoky, medium hot pepper is mostly used in Spanish and Hungarian dishes.

I like to add paprika to all kinds of things. I definitely recommend the baked 'fried' sweet potato wedges. I always find that Real Foods paprika goes further than supermarket brands because I can use less to get the same amount of taste.
