About Organic Durum Wholewheat Semolina

Semolina is a type of flour used in making homemade pasta and some Italian desserts. Semolina is simply durum wheat ground to a coarse texture with all fine flour sifted out. Semolina is a refined product, not a wholegrain. In addition to its use in baked goods, confections and pasta, semolina may be a thickening ingredient in soup or cooked as a porridge.

Low in saturated fats and sodium, high in protein (although not complete protein as it lacks some of the essential amino acids that your body cannot produce on its own). A source of selenium, potassium, folate and thiamine.
