Lucuma powder (Pouteria Lucuma), is called "The gold of the Incas," and has to be one of our favourite foods, ever. You may have never heard of lucuma powder before, because there is a ban on importing the whole fruit out of South America. This highly prized fruit looks and tastes a little like a mango.
It has a unique biscuity sweetness which makes it a winner in raw cakes, biscuits and chocolates. In South America, it's the most popular ice-cream flavouring bar none, and we love adding it to our creams and ice creams. We use it in most of our raw chocolate bars and also as an essential ingredient in our hemp milks and morning chia!
