Based in the South West of Scotland, John Mellis has been making a living from his honey for over 22 years, and there are few who can match his standard of excellence. With 400 colonies of bees working just as hard as he does, John Mellis offers a fantastic range of delicious authentic Scottish honey. The process for this Scottish Heath and Wildflower Honey begins in July, when the hives are moved to the heather moors where the bees collect from bell heather, clover and other flowers. After this, they gather from the distinctive ling heather, giving the resulting blend a uniquely excellent flavour.
