Eat cold and experience the truth about the food of the gods!

This is what chocolate comes from. This is before any sugar is added, so they are slightly bitter, but not overtly so. They actually have a very rich and interesting taste, not just plain bitter. I snack on them whole, with the skin, or I blend them with homemade almond milk and dates to make a cold chocolate milk.

This is chocolate in it's natural form, and what all chocolate is made from. You will have to peel to remove the skins, but nothing beats buying the whole cacao beans for freshness. For ease of use, you can use cacao nibs (the beans that have been dried and broken down, after peeling their skin off).

Vegan Raw Almond Cacao Milk Recipe

Summary: This is a pure chocolate delight, all made from scratch with real almonds and real whole cacao beans and bursting with taste. Still, it only takes 5 minutes to make. For a cold chocolate, use chilled water or chill after making the milk. For hot chocolate, use hot water or gently warm afterwards..
