About Organic Agave Syrup

With its high sweetness Yakso agave syrup is a very good alternative for sugar.

The syrup is 25 percent sweeter than regular sugar but the features are much milder because of the lower glycaemic index (11-19) compared to regular sugar (68).

Therefore, energy is gradually released in the body, what results in less fluctuation in the blood sugar level.

Agave has a naturally high concentration of fructose and the sweetener inulin and can easily be dissolved in water.

This makes the syrup perfect for the use in bakery products, dairy and beverages.
