Review of Foodies Festival
Real Foods were once again thrilled to take part in our second Foodies Festival of the year last weekend. As the snow continued to fall outside, inside Edinburgh's Assembly Rooms was the place to be as hundreds of eager foodies warmed their cockles with all the seasonal, local and gourmet delights on offer at Foodies Christmas Festival. Held over the first weekend of December, the festivities were well and truly underway and Real Foods were there amidst the carol singers, showcasing our festive selection of vegetarian mince pies, wheat & gluten free Christmas puds and cakes and a super scrumptious range of chocolate and truffles. Also on offer was Real Foods' fantastic range of mueslis (made to our own secret recipes) and snacks - customer favourites no matter what the time of year. In true winter-indulgence stylee, foodie loving folks flocked to our stall to sample our wide selection of multi award-winning Booja Booja truffles - a favourite for everyone, including coeliacs, vegans and all lovers of high-quality, organic chocolates. Cocofina coconut water also went down a treat, the perfect antidote if you've over-indulged and want to detox your body, and one of the most effective, natural ways to rehydrate if all that festive fizz has gone to your head. All visitors to the stall were offered free Healthy Living magazines, coupons offering a £5 gift voucher and free recipes for baking the ultimate gluten & dairy-free Christmas treats, as well as a wealth of advice from Aaron, Ben and Tash.
Thank you to Foodies for having us again, to all our staff who helped make the stall a success and to all our neighbours at Foodies Christmas for all the fun we had. And of course, a million thank yous to our foodie-loving customers, old and new, for supporting the cause for healthy, organic, local, ethical and - most importantly - delicious produce. A special thank you goes out to the lovely people at Booja Booja and Cocofina for generously providing us with samples to fuel the stall and visitors to Foodies.
