Valentine's Day Raw Chocolate Coated Fresh Strawberries Recipe

Make these for your other half on Valentine's Day or any day of the year. Only 2 (or 3 if you have a sweet tooth) ingredients and super easy, so you have more time left to paint your nails red.

Method

  • Wash the strawberries and lay them on a clean towel or on paper kitchen roll to dry them. Keep the stems.
  • Grate or finely chop the cacao paste and gently melt it by putting it in a bowl placed in a bigger bowl or pan containing hot water. Stir occasionally until the cacao paste has completely melted.
  • If using, add honey or you favourite sweetener a little bit at a time, until you reach the desired sweetness.
  • Dip the strawberries one by one in the melted chocolate, leaving the tops and stems bare, and lay them on a tray lined with baking parchment, spreading them apart.
  • Let the chocolate harden for a couple of hours at room temperature or in the fridge and enjoy.
