You will need

300g pitted dates More products
2 tbsp cacao powder

500g brazil nuts, pre soaked overnight in cold water More products
2 tbsp cacao nibs More products
100g ground flaxseeds More products
100g sunflower seeds More products
125g walnuts, not chopped More products
125g walnuts, to be chopped More products
sprinkle of sesame seeds More products

Method

  • Place the dates, raisins, cacao powder, brazil nuts, drained, and 500ml water in a food processor and blend until you have a smooth paste.
  • Mix through the seeds, walnuts and cacao nibs.
  • Spread the mixture evenly on to a 10 x 20cm baking tray lined with cling film.
  • Sprinkle the sesame seeds then freeze for 1 hour.
  • Cut into 12 pieces and serve.
  • You can increase the cacao powder and nibs for a more chocolaty experience.
