About Organic Kamut Grain Vegan,
For cooking, grinding into flour or sprouting. Make your own freshly ground coarse or fine organic wholemeal kamut flour. Sprout our Organic Kamut grain into kamut berries that can be eaten whole in salad, raw muesli or to make Essene bread, and grown further to produce kamut grass for juicing, in a similar way to wheatgrass.
Kamut is a hard spring wheat with a rich, buttery flavour and chewy texture. It has 30% higher protein content than wheat and is richer in magnesium, zinc, and vitamin E. It can be served hot with rice or cold as a marinade in salads.
To prepare: Pre-soak the grains overnight then cook 2-3 parts water to one part barley and simmer for 40-45 minutes.
