Hazel nuts, having a special combination of oil rich in oleic acid and vitamin E, have several important health benefits. They are also rich in proteins, carbohydrate, beta-sitosterol and B1, B2 and B6 vitamins.

Summary: Adzuki (or Aduki, or azuki, or English Red Mung) Beans are a very common ingredient in Asian desserts, Japanese in particular, where it is the main ingredient for anko, sweetened red bean paste. High in fibre and protein, Adzuki beans are also a good source of Folate, Potassium, Magnesium and B vitamins. And they happen to have a floury texture and naturally taste slightly sweet, making them a really good alternative to flour in these nutrition packed, delicious fudgy wholefood brownies.
Summary: A great energy boosting breakfast or post-workout smoothie, naturally sweetened with dates and banana. Use raw cacao nibs for a real raw cacao kick.
Summary: This is The Original Apple Bircher Muesli recipe, as can be found in the book 'Health-Giving dishes' by Dr Bircher-Benner, first published in 1934 !
Swiss Bircher-Benner advocated eating MUESLI (Dietetic Fruit Dishes) as an integral part of the daily diet (to be eaten for breakfast and supper).
The original recipe calls for condensed milk, but you can use yoghurt instead.
I like to use coconut milk or oat cream for a vegan muesli.
