Organic Gala Apple from Real Foods. A pleasantly sweet and mellow tasting apple. Gala's are a variety developed in New Zealand that have been very popular, particularly with kids as their small size and sweet taste is popular with 'picky' eaters. A golden skin with a rosy overtone, it has juicy, creamy yellow flesh and a thin skin. It is delicious eaten raw or try sautéing or slow baking with it.
