About Organic Passata Rustica
What makes Rustica different from the other passatas is that when straining the tomatoes, a larger sieve is used, which gives a thicker consistency to the product. To ensure the product doesn't have any seeds or peel in it, we carefully remove all of these things before it is sieved. This is more labour intensive but it results in a higher grade of product just that little bit better than normal passata.
