About Organic Apple & Cinnamon Porridge Oats
Pure porridge oats with diced apple and dusted with cinnamon spice - a heart-healthy way to start your day. These oats are batch tested for gluten using the ELISA method. Oats have a high soluble fibre content which can help stabilise blood sugar levels by slowing digestion and prolonging the absorption of carbohydrates. High fibre intake can also help lower blood cholesterol, aid digestion and assist bowel function.
To prepare this delicious porridge, pour 50g of the apple and cinnamon porridge oats into a saucepan. Add 350ml of liquid. This could be milk, water, or a combination of the two. Bring the mixture to the boil and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
