Spatburgunder, Wilhelm Zahringer
Light to medium Pinot with a slender and supple feel. Berry fruits predominate in nose and mouth - particularly blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant. It has good structure, fine tannins and a clean, firm finish. A great introduction to German red wine making and very versatile with food - cheeses, pasta dishes, lighter meats.
